1. Kalmes Famous Grilled Steaks

  • Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs your favorite cut of steak (ribeye, sirloin, New York strip work great!)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2-3 teaspoons Kalmes Famous Seasoning & Tenderizer

  • Instructions:

  • Pat steaks dry with a paper towel. This helps create a better sear.

  • Rub both sides of the steaks generously with olive oil.

  • Evenly sprinkle Kalmes Famous Seasoning & Tenderizer over all surfaces of the steaks. Use a little more for a bolder flavor, or less for a subtle enhancement.

  • Let the steaks rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. This allows the seasoning to penetrate and the tenderizer to work its magic.

  • Preheat your grill to high heat. Sear steaks for 2-4 minutes per side for a beautiful crust.

  • Reduce heat to medium-low and continue grilling, flipping occasionally, until desired doneness is reached (e.g., 125-130°F for medium-rare).

  • Remove from grill, tent loosely with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy the incredibly tender and flavorful results!

2. Kalmes Famous Roasted Chicken & Veggies

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (3-4 lbs), cut into pieces or left whole

  • 1 lb mixed root vegetables (carrots, potatoes, parsnips), peeled and chopped into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 large onion, quartered

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3-4 teaspoons Kalmes Famous Seasoning & Tenderizer

  • Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a large bowl, toss the chopped vegetables and onion with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of Kalmes Famous Seasoning & Tenderizer. Spread them in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

  • Pat the chicken pieces dry. Rub them with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and generously sprinkle all over with 2-3 teaspoons of Kalmes Famous Seasoning & Tenderizer.

  • Place the seasoned chicken pieces on top of the vegetables on the baking sheet.

  • Roast for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

  • For extra crispy skin, you can broil for the last few minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.

  • Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with the delicious roasted vegetables.
